Oasis Middle School's After School Care Program:
(Please note: This program is not affiliated with Parks and Rec)
- Who: All Oasis Middle School students are welcome!
- Where: Located in the Oasis Middle School Cafeteria.
- When: 2:20 PM - 4:30 PM every school day.
- Cost: $10 per week, I'm sorry but we do not have a pay-per-day program.
Students are welcome to come any day or week that they need to stay after school. Your child is only charged for the week(s) that they report to After-School Care (so they pay on a weekly basis depending on their attendance). Students who attend After-School Care are free to:
- Play board games or their handheld Playstation games (students are responsible for their PS2's & other personal items)
- Do homework/study
- Go to tutoring (provided by teachers)
- Go to clubs or athletic practices (provided by teachers and coaches)
- Go to the library to work on projects, check out a book, etc.
- Chat with their friends
- Students, it is your responsibility to check in with me every day immediately after school.
Also, there are occasional movie days and days when the students are taken to the gym to play basketball. Feel good knowing that the money collected for Oasis After-School Care goes right back into Oasis Middle School. These funds help offset field trip expenses and also go towards rewards days for well behaved students, such as, breakfast with the principal, lunch with the principal, and movie days which many students attend every quarter! The money collected also goes towards the equipment and games used by the After-School Care students!
