About the PTO:
The Parent Teacher Organization or PTO at Oasis Charter Middle School is a group of parents and teachers who volunteer their time in order to provide the opportunity for our students to achieve their fullest potential in a stimulating environment. This is done through the cooperation between parents, teachers and our community.

Our Goals For The 2009-2010 School Year:
1. Give our families the opportunity to spend time together.
Between work, school and extra curricular activities, we are busy. We would like to express the importance of the family, by hosting several events throughout the year that are both affordable and fun.
2. Raise money to support the students, teachers and to better our school environment.
Along with the traditional fundraisers, we will also offer ways to contribute through activities, jean days and other fun events. Some of the things last year the PTO was able to purchase were soccer goals, clickers for the classrooms' smart boards, cooking supplies for the kitchen, and other learning materials for the kids. We were also able to show our appreciation to the teachers through luncheons, gifts and extra money to spend on their classes.
3. Bridge the gap between the school and our community.
We would like our name to get out in the community, so we have many items for purchase with our name on them. We hope to see every one with an Oasis Middle window cling on their car. It would be great to follow that up with students who would like to volunteer in the Cape with support from the PTO. Let's show Cape Coral that Oasis Charter Middle School has the best kids and school in the area!
How Can You Help?
1. Join the PTO.
It's easy, just print & fill out the PTO MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION available online, in the office or at any PTO function. Turn in with your annual family membership of $10.00.
2. Volunteer.
Parents and teachers volunteering their time run the PTO. There are several opportunities throughout the year to help. Look online in the volunteer section and contact one of the board members or ask at any PTO function.
3. Support the PTO by attending the planned events.
Some may be fundraising events but all are designed for the family to have fun together. This is also a great opportunity for you to meet your child's friends and their parents.
4. Have Patience!
We are all volunteers and are learning. If you experience a problem though, please let us know so that we can fix it. But please, be kind.
